Try this yogurt salad dressing that's creamy & easy to make! When made with our Promise Valley yogurt, it's also organic, A2A2 and from Guernsey cows -- it doesn't get any healthier than that. :)
Summertime is for dips & dressings like this one! This salad dressing is amazing drizzled on salads (such as the leafy greens from Tatlo Farm!), roasted veggies, and grilled meat. It's super fast and easy to make, taking only 5 minutes out of your already busy schedule to make 1 cup of dressing.
Ingredients
1 cup plain whole milk yogurt (like ours!)
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
4 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup fresh dill
2 tbsp water (optional)
Instructions
1.Whisk together the yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
2. While whisking constantly, drizzle in the olive oil and mix until the mixture is thoroughly emulsified.
3. If it's too thick, you can add a few tablespoons of water to thin it out.
4. Mix in the fresh dill (if using, see note below)
5. Take a picture and share it with us on Instagram: @promisevalleyfarm!
And, that's it!
We hope you enjoy this dressing! Since our yogurt contains only the A2 beta-casein protein (also found in sheep or goat milk), it is perfect for those who find it difficult to digest conventional A1 milk.
In this recipe, you can also substitute herbs, if you can't find dill or don't care for the taste of dill. Fresh herbs such as mint, parsley, basil, or chives will work just as well. Or, you can omit the herbs altogether.
