It's packed with quality, organic protein and heart-healthy fats to keep you and your little ones feeling full and satisfied. Feel free to add toppings as desired!
Looking for something quick, nutritious, and filling to make for a healthy snack or breakfast? You've come to the right blog! This peanut butter yogurt bowl is the perfect way to start a busy day, or get in a few extra calories and good fats between meals, especially around the time of that dreaded afternoon slump!
It only takes a few minutes to make, four ingredients (yogurt, peanut butter, hemp hearts and protein powder) plus the toppings of your choice! This time we've used bananas that we had in the kitchen, but fresh blueberries, blackberries, sliced apples, or even frozen fruit would be a delicious alternative.
Ingredients:
1 cup of our Promise Valley Farm A2A2 yogurt (plain, vanilla bean, honey or lemon)
1 tbsp organic natural peanut butter (smooth or crunchy, depending on what texture you prefer!)
2 tbsp organic hemp hearts
1 1/2 tbsp protein powder
+ the toppings of your choice!
To recreate the look in these photos, add the yogurt into a small bowl, layer with the sliced bananas, then drizzle the peanut butter over the banana slices. Sprinkle the protein powder and hemp hearts to one side, and you're ready to go!
Alternative topping ideas:
- granola
- raisins
- chia
- sliced apples
